Windows 10: Store auto update button greyed out

Discus and support Store auto update button greyed out in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Just updated laptop to windows 10 home.     Store auto update button greyed out


    Just updated laptop to windows 10 home. Store auto update button greyed out--says contact administrator. There is no other account on this machine except one admin account, and the sign on is with a Microsoft account. Seems to be no way to add any other admin account or sign on any other way.

    What's going on here?

    Cannot turn of Apps Auto Update

    Under the Store, I want to turn off Auto update but this is greyed out.

    It says: contact system administrator.

    Cannot disable automatic app updates, and Candy Crush Saga etc downloaded without my permission...

    To turn off the updates, the value should be 2.

    However even after doing this, under store, the auto app update still shows as ON and greyed out.

    I am having the exact same issue. I haven't found a resolution anywhere. I did a clean install after upgrading--same problem!
