Windows 10: Store download speed

Alright, so I got forza horizon 4 while it was on sale for my pc, but it won’t download faster than 2Mb/s yet my bothers downloaded in a few hours at a much higher speed on the same internet.. it’s been 2-3 days now and mines still going slow and only half way done.


I have tried pretty much everything a quick google found to try speed it up but nothing as worked, running windows 10 with everything up to date and I’m lost on what to do to get it done faster any help would be amazing.

• The latest update I have showing is "2018-02 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64 based system KB4074588"
• I've tried all the below steps suggested by Eeshwar Kumar in this link: Why is Windows Store's download speed so slow?
• And also all by Jane La in the below: Microsoft Store Very Low Download Speeds

Some users have reported that they're experiencing some computer issues after installing KB4074588. In this case, we suggest uninstalling the said update by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + i to open Settings, then select
  Update & security.
• Click Update history.
• Under Update history, click Uninstall updates.
• Highlight KB4074588, then click Uninstall (beside Organize).

Please post back with the result for further assistance.

 

Slow Download Speed

• I would suggest you to test the speed using any of the speed test website or app to confirm the upload and download speed.
• I also suggest you to reset the wireless router to check if that helps.
  
• You may plug in the Ethernet cable if available and check the speed.
