Windows 10: Store on Pro X

Store is having a problem on my Surface Pro X windows 10 home edition, I have it since April. Over 50% of the times, when performing a search it quits.


My windows also crashed yesterday, I spent the whole day to reinstall the whole system. After that at first store worked fine but after a few hours the same story.


Everything else seems fine, but as windows itself also crashed, I am wondering if this could be a sign of hardware problem.


Note, I have had microsoft tech on remote control, which did not help.

I suggest you run the Windows Store app troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

  Press Windows Key + X.

  Click on Windows Store apps to run the troubleshooter.
  

Method 2:

If the issue persist, I suggest you to reset Windows Store cache and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key+ R.
• Type wsreset.exe and hit
  Enter.

Store not opening on Surface Pro 2 with Windows 10

Method 1.

For the issue with Windows store, I would recommend you to run app troubleshooter and check if it helps. Follow the below link to run app troubleshooter.

If the issue still persist, try the below method.

Method 2.

I would suggest you reset the Windows app store and check if it helps.

  Type "Run" on the search bar and hit enter.

  Now type: "WSReset.exe" and hit enter to reset the Windows apps store.
  

For the issue with camera try the below method.

Method 3.

Step 1.

I suggest you to uninstall/reinstall the webcam driver and check.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Now click on Imaging devices to expand, right click on the
  device and click on uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done installing the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the webcam driver.
  

If the still persist, try the below steps.

Step 2.

I suggest you to update the webcam driver and check.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Now click on Imaging devices and right click on it and
  update the software.
  

Also, I suggest you to install all the Windows update.
