Windows 10: Strange arrow signs on folders

After updating Windows 10 there appeared arrow signs on folders:





What are these, and how can I get rid of them?

How to change from arrows to plus signs next to folder in Files Explorer in Windows 10.

 

Two blue arrows at top right of icons

The files under Desktop folder have same issue. I solved problem using below steps.

• Right click to Desktop folder.
  
• Click to Advanced button
  
• Unchecked compress contents to save disk spaces. Click Ok, ok and apply
  buttons.
  

After these steps, arrows should be disappeared and also you can use below command to clear icon cache.

In order to further diagnose the issue, I would suggest you to check the same issue with the new user account.

Try these steps to create a new user account and check if it fixes the issue. Refer to the steps below to create a new User Account:

• Go to Settings.
• Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
• Select Add an Account.
• Enter a user name and hit Next.
• Click on Finish.
• Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
• Check if issue persists.
