When I open services page I noticed there are some strange entries, as you can see from the screenshot there are some entries ended in 6dd8d3 like AarSvc_6dd8d3, BluetoothUserService_6dd8d3 and others. What are those ? are they virus ?

    :)

windows defender & security center services keep turning off

Are you running any other AV or did you have one running in the past? If you didn't use an uninstaller for the AV, then the remnants of it could be causing the problem. Normally any time you install an AV it disables Defender by default.

If you are getting any error codes please list those, that will be helpful in helping you.

As torre suggested, might be a good idea to do a reset or even a reinstall.

    Strange Entry

    Hello Edward,

The issue that you are facing is more complex than what is typically answered in the Microsoft Community.

These are path entries from the registry.

We suggest posting your question in
    TechNet Forums
, where we have support professionals who are well-equipped with the knowledge on such issues.

Let us know if you have other concerns.

    Regards.

How Delete Individual Entries in the Taskbar's Address Toolbar

Thank you for the suggestion. I searched for & deleted any history related to Messenger, which is where that URL takes me, but the URL is still there in the address bar. Strange.

thanks again. I did check, but I don't see any URLs there...just the same list that's in the Run dropdown list. The address book seems to contain items from different sources, so it's hard to find where certain items come from.
