Windows 10: Strange HDD sound after new SSD

    Restart just in case it doesn't take effect immediately. Let it sit on idle 15 minutes or so, it shouldn't make startup noises any more.
    I would also check the health of that disk. You can download test utility for your disk's make from here Download Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Tools Tools for Windows - MajorGeeks

    I meant to restart windows and let it sit without you doing anything. After you start using computer it should not have to do POST and should not make noises like that any more.
