Strange issue with One Drive sync to other devices

I welcome the way in which Stickies and Timeline sync with my Android Tablet but am alarmed at what has happened between One Drive and the tablet. The One Drive files have not displayed as expected but as a list numbered 1, 2, 3 etc with no further information except the size which is 1 GB each!. More important is what has happened to the Android's SD card. It now contains a host of Windows Files, many of them exe, and weirdly files I do not have and as far as I know have never had on One Drive or my PC, or were deleted long (years) ago, or have names unintelligible to me! Bizarre or what?

Fortunately it seems I can delete these intruders OK, though it will take some time! My alarm is largely due to the possibility that this 'infection' might appear on my new Android phone where it could be more problematic.

    :)

    DVD Drive issues.

The games used to run, now apparently the disks don't even read.

Go to Device Manager and remove the DVD
Scan for hardware changes and update driver as OS suggests

    Still not working?

    1) Clean the heads.
    2) Run a diagnostic program on the drive.

Nothing else has changed about your system aside from the OS?

Revert to XP Home, assuming you don't find the source of the problem in steps above.

    Strange Value Drive

    Hi Chiranjit,

It seems that this particular drive was not assigned a drive letter (for eg: drive H: or drive DStrange issue with One Drive sync to other devices :) and hence it is displayed as with such a label. May we know if you have made any changes to your computer prior to this issue? I would suggest you to go to
disk management tool and assign a letter to this drive. Refer to these steps:

    • Press Windows key + X, select Disk
      management.
    • Locate the drive with the label shown in the image.
    • Right click on that drive and select Change drive letter and paths.
    • Now select the drive and click on the change button.
    • Select assign the following drive letter and choose a drive letter that hasn’t been assigned to any other drive.
    • Click Ok to save changes.

Now check if the drive is listed in File Explorer and if you are able to access its contents.

Update us with the results so we can further assist you.
