Windows 10: Strange problems with my Profile Signature. Windows 10

I've had strange problems this afternoon with my Profile signature.


(1) Here's what appears on a recent thread of mine (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-app-for/e21f011e-17cd-49cc-8c35-2edc99ae7757)





(2) Here's what appeared when I was editing my profile signature just now




You'll see that my Windows version and build in paragraphs (1) & (2) are the same.


(3) But here's what appeared when I posted a comment in the new "Celebrating 10 Years of Microsoft Community" thread. (This is 'hidden away' in https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ommunity/b2b36874-57b4-4022-b475-0c06cd8c3b7a and I've gently suggested it should be given a higher profile.)




You'll see that my Windows build has lost the "418".

And you also see another strange thing - when I was inputting text, some kind of 'search' (???) occurred and a yellow highlighter moved downwards through my text! I wasn't quick enough to snip it.

So I have now have two questions but will only be answer-marking the first one i.e. what's happened to my profile signature on the "Celebrating" thread?

Please follow the below steps to add signature on mail app.

Step 1.

• Go the browser and open Outlook.com and log-in on the email.
• Click on gear box go to option.
• Locate for the Formatting, font and signature and click on it.

Once you create the signature go to mail app to turn on the signature option. Follow the below steps:

Step 2.

• 
  Open the mail app click on
  gear box.
  
• 
  Now click on option and turn on the
  signature option.

To understand the issue better, I would like to know how did you attached the signature? Please provide the steps.



Please follow the below steps to add signature and check.

Step 1.
