Windows 10: Stuck in a loop of "Undoing changes made to your computer" after Windows 10 updates

I'm using:

SURFACE PRO 3

WINDOWS 10, update of may 2020 I think


I tried to update my Surface. I didn't have enough space like always, so I rerouted the updates to the SD card in the Surface's SD card slot. After a few hours of updating, it started to undo the changes.


It has bee more than 24 hours, it still does the black screen with "Undoing changes made to your computer..." message with occasional reboots.

I've tried solutions presented in this post 'Undoing changes made to your computer' in Windows 10, nothing worked.


When I boot to the safe mode, once the safe mode is on the screen, it restarts and attempts to undo the changes again.

Windows update gone wrong.

Computer is trying to undo changes but stuck in loop.

Have tried everything to rectify but no joy

Anybody got an answer to solve problem

 

Undoing Changes Loop

My computer is stuck in the "undoing changes loop" and will not boot at all. Keeps trying to boot then goes in a loop back to trying to open. I have tried powering off and on three times to get to the Advanced Repair with no success. Any suggestions on
on to fix this issue. Thank you
