  1. Stuck In Lockdown Browser Mode?

I had to download a Lockdown Browser to take an exam yesterday and ever since then my PC has been acting super funny. I don’t have any power options, I can’t run task manager either. My PC freezes a lot and crashes more than it did. I’m super confused, its like it’s stuck in the mode and it keeps asking me to get in touch with my administrator but I am it. Can anyone help? Am I just really stupid or did I really screw up?

    Can't uninstall Lockdown browser

    Hello Brian,

    Thank you for responding.

I have tried to uninstall the browser using Add/Uninstall programs, I have tried using tools in ccleaner, which lets you add/unistall programs, as well as trying to remove the file on C: drive. These 3 ways of uninstalling programs does not work. I get
    the error (-5000, 0x80070002),

I cannot uninstall this Lockdown browser. I have talked to I.T. dept. of the college that this browser pertains too, I was told that there is no issue.

I have also trouble shooter, for some reason the error is stating that their is an Windows Update issue.

I appreciate any other help you can give.

    thank you

    Don

    Unfortunately, I'm stuck.

    Stuck In Lockdown Browser Mode?

Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

    • Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
      Enter.
    • Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
    • Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.
