Windows 10: Stuck In Night Mode

Hello,


For a couple of weeks now my desktop has been stuck in "night mode" even though it is turned off and the setting is at zero too. Whereas I used to be able to right-click on my desktop and switch between modes there, that option is no longer available after the most recent updates. I have yet to find a solution on how to get my screen back to standard mode.

Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

• Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
  keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
  Enter.
• Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
• Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.

 

Night Mode

Additional information will give us a clarity to your concern. We would like to know if you are referring to Night Light. If yes, follow these steps to turn off the Night Light:

• Open Settings.
• Click on System.
• Make sure that you are on Display tab, and then toggle the
  Night Light option to Off.
• Click on Night light settings.
• Click on Turn off now button.
