Windows 10: Stuck in Windows 10 safe mode and forgot password

I usually login with my PIN but when the laptop started on safe mode, it required a password for the microsoft account. I could not remember my password and reset the microsoft account password using the browser on mobile. But the laptop doesn't connect to the internet so it doesn't have the new password. I tried opening command prompt by following the steps on this link https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...password/821393a3-6112-4c58-bc1e-3446f3dee0ee but while opening command prompt it again required my password so I am stuck in a kind of an infinite loop. Also while opening Windows in safe mode with networking , it doesn't connect to the mobile hotspot. I would be highly grateful if I could have a way out of this situation.

Win 10 safe mode but forgot password

I am stuck at the opening window of Safe Mode (windows 10) and I forgot my password.

I used another device to create a new password but none is accepted by my machine?

What can I do to recover the password at Safe Mode?

I found myself with this infuriating problem a while ago. I hadn't set up a Microsoft account on my pc, so once in safe mode, I did not have a password, so there was no way obvious way to escape, as every option needed the Microsoft
password to be entered.

After researching for days, I found the following link:

I'm not sure now where I stumbled across this but it allowed me to escape safe mode, for which I am very grateful.

If Microsoft had supplied this solution, I should not have wasted a great deal of time.
