Windows 10: stuck installing developer mode package

I recently got a new computer and put it in developer mode which worked no problem. I kept wondering why it looked like I had two different builds of windows 10 between my laptop and desktop and today I realized it was because my desktop was in sideload mode not developer mode but when I switched it back to developer mode it hangs trying to install the developer mode package. When I restart it hangs as well but not when I shutdown. I tried uninstalling the Linux subsystem that I loaded on to it when I originally had it in developer mode but that didn't fix the hanging.


Any ideas?

Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > App Package Deployment

• Allow all trusted apps to install
• Allows development of Windows Store apps and installing them from an integrated development environment (IDE

Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

• Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
  keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
  Enter.
• Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
• Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.

 

unable to activate developer mode

Hello,

I need help about activate developer mode in Win 10

it is giving me this error

"Developer Mode package failed to install. Error code 0x80004005"

So i tried to go App & Features but there is no developer package for me to add.

Please help
