Windows 10: Stuck on 5ghz

Hey, I’ve been having some connectivity issues lately and it’s really frustrating for me. I have a dual band wifi and I wanted 5 ghz but I soon realized that 5 ghz is way to slow for me because I’m not close to my router, so I decided to switch back to 2.4 ghz. But the problem is, it stays on 5 ghz. Last of all, for some reason, my ipv6 doesn’t have any network access and all my apps and browsers won’t connect even though my wifi signal is ok and I have network access.

Thanks for your replay Mr. Jack but I have tried everything resetting my phone, router also but I have never seen my phone show the 5Ghz networks....!!! Anything else u can suggest?? It works well with the 2.5Ghz network...!! I have other phones at home which
connects to the 5Ghz network and works fine..!! It's only my 950xl which doesn't show the 5Ghz network...!!

 

5ghz support on Lumia range

Hi, I want to get a Windows phone and am looking at the Lumia range but it has to support 5ghz wi-fi.



The phone specs only list the wi-fi bands supported which isn't overly helpful, so is there a list of Lumias that support 5ghz, or if you have one could you tell me if it supports it?
