Windows 10: subfolders have disappeared in outlook on office 365

Discus and support subfolders have disappeared in outlook on office 365 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have office 365 on two machines (laptop and desktop) both with all patches up to date.     subfolders have disappeared in outlook on office 365


    I have office 365 on two machines (laptop and desktop) both with all patches up to date. I have, within outlook, connections to various email accounts. I noticed on desktop that my icloud email account subfolders have all disappeared (if I open icloud on the web I can still see them or on my iPhone),.


    I opened laptop to compare and watched as the subfolders disappeared one by one before my eyes.


    I can only see inbox, sent items, deleted items, drafts, junk, outbox now - but no subfolders and the arrows to expand have disappeared.


    I have tried removing the mail accounts and re-adding to no avail.


    I have tried installing icloud for windows - but that has never worked and always tries to get me to repair the app and restart the machine when it says it has installed, then it tells me to repair the mail again in an infinite loop..... which never repairs - it has never worked, but the email in outlook did use to work regardless


    How do I see my sub folders again?????

    While configuring outlook password windows disappears

    Hi Ram2694,

    Greetings, if the password windows disappears when configure your account, I suggest you try the follow steps to configure your Office 365 account in Outlook desktop client. in this way, there is no need to type in password in new pop up window.

    1. Please right click on “Start” button > click
      search > type "Control Panel” in the search box.
    2. Find and click the Mail > Click
      Show Profiles.
    3. Click Add >
      type in a custom profile name > then type in your Office 365 account and password >
      Next > Finish.
    4. Start your Outlook with this new profile.

    If it still doesn't work, to better help you, may I know if you configure the Office 365 account or other account type in your Outlook desktop client? Meantime, please provide your detailed Outlook version for us.

    Cortana & Office 365 Integration

    We are trying to integrate Cortana with our Office 365 subscription, but it never works. Here are the steps we have done:



    • Turned on Cortona in the Office 365 Admin portal
    • We are using Windows 10 1703 – connected Office 365 service to Cortana
    Did the same on windows 10 mobile with no luck, Cortana says its connected to Office 365, but sees no data and we are getting zero errors

    We went rough office 365 support first and tried all fo their suggestions, they kicked us over to Windows support which is currently closed.

    We are on v1703 with all updates in place, it does not work on Windows 10 desktop or mobile

    any ideas? I can give you all steps 365 support had us run through if that will be helpful

    Microsoft Office 365 update programs disappeared

    I just updated Office 365 version 16.0.6001.1041 and the programs have disappeared. Outlook, Excel, Word............. Can someone please help.
