Windows 10: Sudden loss in wifi connection on laptop

Hi! I have a problem with wifi on my home laptop, unfortunately it happened again. Everything is fine the wifi works perfectly fine and all of the sudden it disconnects and isn’t shown on list but all of my neighbour’s wifi are. It once happened before and I couldn’t connect my laptop to home wifi for about 2 months. When I was about to go to IT tech it suddenly appeared as if nothing have happened. I was so happy however it happened once again and I don’t know why it’s still happening. Do you have any tips that may help or maybe you’ve had the same problem and you know how to fix this?

All of sudden my wifi network is not showing in the available wifi networks list

Hi Team,

For understanding purpose I am naming my wifi connection as A and other connections are B,C,D,E,F,..etc

Laptop and mobile are in same room

Laptop connected to wifi A

Mobile connected to wifi A

all of sudden

Laptop disconnected to wifi and couldn't able for find wifi A in the available connections list, but can see many other networks available B,C,D,E,F,..etc.

Mobile is still connected to wifi A

I tried my laptop to connect to wifi B, it is successful. Don't know what is the problem.

My laptop is uptodate, even i updated the drivers. uninstalled and restarted the device still able to connect to wifi B but couldn't able to find wifi A in the list.

Please help.

I have recently upgraded to windows 10 from windows 8.1. In the last few days my laptop keeps dropping off the home wifi even though other similar devices are connected. The only way I'm able to restore the wifi connection seems to be to restore the laptop
back to a previous history point - 14th August - which suggests that an update installed since that time is causing the issue. This clearly and time consuming and annoying way to go about things.

Can anyone suggest any alternatives? Many thanks
