Windows 10: Sudden problem with Edge and Streaming video

Hello All,

I have a "Watch TV Everywhere" subscription. It allows me to watch content from most of the cable channel providers. Recently Edge has stopped playing or even loading some of the channels. Not all though, only certain ones. of course the ones i watch the most. Chrome will load them but endlessly tries to buffer.


Seems Firefox has no troubles, but i would like to find what is happening. Do you have any suggestions ? i have tried clearing the whole edge files in my C drive and reinstalling but that has not helped.

Edge stops streaming video

Method 2:

Refer to these steps to clear the browsing data.

Reset the Edge by clearing browning data and check if that helps you.

  Select all, then click on Clear.

  Restart the Edge and check the issue status.

Edge Not Streaming Live

Hi Kailey,

This issue could be due to Edge settings or the video format is not supported. To properly isolate this issue, kindly verify the following:

• Does the issue happen on all video streaming websites?
• Have you tried running Windows update to check for any improvements for the Edge browser?
