Windows 10: Sudden slow boot time on Windows Loading screen with SSD

When SMART is enabled, the SMART status check for all hard disk drives is automatically performed every time the computer is turned on or restarted. Which will slow down boot time you should set the SMART to Short Self-Test within BIOS setup screen.

Upgrade BIOS/UEFI firmware check your motherboard or computer manufacturer website for the latest BIOS/UEFI firmware update.

Select one of the following hard disk drive device tests:

• SMART Status Check: Checks the status of the hard disk drive SMART status. Displays whether SMART support is enabled or disabled.
  
• SMART Short Self-Test: Runs a short self-test on the hard disk drive.
  
  
• SMART Extended Self-Test: Runs an Extended self-test on the hard disk drive. This may take some time.

Before entering the forum I've searched about what's happening and tried to use the tools I know of, such as disabling fast boot, disabling auto start programs, enabling msi fast boot, repairing boot partition, etc... Also switched the SSD to a different M.2 slot, but didn't change anything. By searching a little more I found this forum and saw that you guys really try to help everyone, so I decided to register and here I am, hoping you can help me fix this issue, and despite my disappointment about the problem happening such short time after buying, I'm still acquiring some knowledge with you!

 

This is what i need you to do first disconnect all attached devices from your computer this includes internal HDDs and SSDs even the drive where Windows 10 installed, leave mouse and keyboard connected. Create yourself a bootable Windows 10 USB flash drive and configure BIOS to boot from USB flash drive then boot your computer with USB flash drive and please record the boot process for me so i can see where problem coming from.

You can use Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to create bootable Windows 10 USB flash drive. You can also use RUFUS to create bootable Windows 10 USB flash drive.
