    Shortcut to print without opening Visio File (VSDX extension)?

    Since, without opening file, I can print VSDX file by following steps:

    1. open file with Internet Explorer
    2. get Internet Explorer to print.
    Is there a shortcut ? My wish to have:

    1. right click file with VSDX extension and print just like Office documents?
    2. VBS using COM
    3. Powershell script

    I cant chane my file extension (Windows 10)

    You must make the file extensions visible in File Explorer:

    • Launch File Explorer.
    • Click these items: View / Options / Change folder and search options
    • Click View in the Folder Options panel.
    • Untick the box Hide extensions for known file types.
    • Click Apply to folders.
    You can now give your files any extension you wish.

    Shortcut file referent does not include file extension

    What options or file extension settings and registry entries might result in shortcut files being produced without the file extension included in the shortcut reference?

    Is a direct edit of the shortcut manually to add the proper extension the only way to fix these occurrences?
