Windows 10: Surface Book 2 Keeps Detaching/Freezing

My surface book keeps detaching and showing the flashing green button every time I do something. I noticed sliding it over, pushing the screen back, slightly bumping it, picking it up causes it to make the "detach/reattach" noise and freeze. It freezes for about 10 seconds or so but I'm finding it irritating at this point. I thought it would go away if I restarted/shut down my computer but it's still doing the same thing. I also tried cleaning the sensors for the keyboard in case that was the problem but still didn't work. There are certain applications that prevent it from detaching so I try to keep that application open for now. If I want to try to detach it myself by pressing the detach button, it won't allow me to do so, it just does it automatically. Is there any solutions because they sent me a replacement for my other surface book? Thanks for your replies.

If a background app prevents your Surface Book to be detached, we recommend that you disable this application to run in the background. To disable a background app, follow the steps below:

• Click the Start button and select the Settings
  icon.
• Choose Privacy from the list.
• Select Background apps in the left pane of the window.
• Under Choose which apps can run in the background, look for the application and toggle it off.

"Surface Detach" Icon Removal on Surface Book Taskbar

As per the description I understand that you are trying to remove the Surface detach icon from the Taskbar on your Surface device, we will help you with this issue.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to disable it and check if it helps.

You will have to disable the Surface DTX. Follow:

• Press and hold (or right-click) the taskbar and select Task Manager.
• In Task Manager, select the Startup tab.
• Check if the Surface DTX status is shown as Disabled.
• Close Task Manager.

Disable the Detach Key for Surface Book 2

How can I disable the detach screen key on the keyboard on my Surface Book 2? I need to disable this keyboard key for now and be able to enable it when I need it.
