Windows 10: Surface Book facial recognition lets in my boyfriend too?

My surface book's facial recognition seems to be seriously malfunctioning. For the past maybe 6 months could be longer, my boyfriend's face quickly unlocks my computer, which we noticed when he opened my computer once to watch a movie. We look nothing at all alike but it lets in both of us; he has a beard/totally different face shape. He can do this when I'm nowhere near being in the frame. This was initially funny and I assumed it was a short term glitch, but several system updates later and resetting attempts in the windows hello settings, it still inexplicably works on both of us, but not for a couple of the friends we've tried to replicate this with. We're both worried about the security of my computer. Everything else has worked fine and I have no reason to suspect any malware. Has anyone else had something similar happen/is there anything I can do to fix this?

We need to do further investigation on your concern so that we will know why the facial recognition quit working:

• Have you recently made any changes/updates prior to this issue?
• Is there an error message when you try to sign using facial recognition?
• What is the make and model of your computer?

In the meantime, I would suggest that you perform the troubleshooting steps in this

Based on the details you have provided, you can follow these steps to set a new scan for facial recognition:

• 
  On the
  Start
  button, go to
  Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
  
• 
  Under
  Windows Hello, choose
  camera setup option.
  
• 
  Select
  Remove
  to delete or remove the previous facial recognition setup.
  
• 
  To setup a new facial recognition setup, go to
  Set Up > Get Started.
  
• 
  Follow the instructions to scan your face and click
  Finish.

trying to turn off the Facial Recognition feature for Windows Hello or for the
Windows 10 Camera app?

• Under Picture password, click Remove.
