    Surface pro 2017 and turbotax programs compatibility


    Is the 2017 surface pro 2017 with win 10 pro compatible with downloading and running turbotax programs and files? I am being told that the surface pro will only dowload “apps”, and is not allowed to download third party “programs”. I’ve been told that the surface pro cannot even download and run the stand alone ms office program. Please advise asap. Thanks, Lee

    Turbotax 2017 shutting down. Trying to find a fix

    Right Click on the Setup.exe file for TurboTax

    choose properties.

    Select Compatibility

    Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for

    Set to Windows 10

    Click Apply and OK

    Start the 2017 TurboTax installation

    When I right-click on the application file, and check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

    The latest Windows option is Windows 8. There is no option for setting it to Windows 10.
