    Suspicious Activity Involving Microsoft Store?

I saw the little icon in the notification icon in the bottom right of the screen flash to the Microsoft Store logo indicating it was downloading or installing something, with 3 next to it. When I clicked on it, the only one left was "DirectX Runtime". It took me to a Microsoft Store page looking like this:

I do have the Xbox app installed, so I don't know if this has anything to do with that.

Is this something official or something I should be worried about. Thanks!

    :)

  2. Magic Puzzles suspicious crash

    Hi Maggie,

Microsoft never pro-actively encourages customers to contact certain numbers for assistance with "technical issues". The messages you are receiving are consistent with fraudulent activities that may harm your property.

If you are referring to Magic Jigsaw Puzzles app that was developed by
ZiMAD, we suggest you report the app immediately. To do so, follow these steps:

    • Open this link.
You may open it through Microsoft Store or through a browser.

    • Scroll down, sign in, and report the app.

Lastly, we suggest you refrain from contacting or downloading anything related to the messages you are receiving.

    Thank you for the advice

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

    Suspicious Activity - Yahoo Mail

I had a notice from Comcast once that they noticed suspicious activity on my email account. I checked my online account and couldn't find anything wrong. I changed my pass word and haven't received any notices since.
