Suspicious Registry Entry. Should I remove it?

    Hi!
Recently, I was tricked into installing a dubious Android emulator called GameLoop. I find it dubious because when it was running, it registered a service that has an string of Asian characters as a name I think Chinese. I just do not like to have any service I don't know running in my laptop, or a service that has a name that I cannot read.
So I uninstalled the emulator and swore to never install any emulator in the future. So, I checked the running services and found that the service with Chinese characters is gone. I felt relieved, but I still have my doubts that it must had left something within my hard drive or even within the registry. Then, I checked out my registry and found a weird registry entry I never saw before, it is:

    Computer\HKEY_USERS\QMConfig

It only contains a Default REG_SZ entry with no data value set.

But then, I am always afraid of editing the registry since even I tweak it sometimes, I am still not confident of myself. Perhaps this registry entry is a new feature or is actually not related to the emulator I installed recently.

So my question is: should I remove this registry entry folder?

Thank you and have a great day!

    :)

    Miscellaneous Registry entries?

    W1zzard: Miscellaneous Registry entries?

    For W1zzard,

    *Respect :respect:

What are the registry entry names and data types for the Miscellaneous entries:

Currently selected Catalyst A.I. level, and Geometry Instancing Enabled?

I can't find anything that looks like those that are defined in that registry key, and I have to manually set them everytime I reboot my PC. *Frown Suspicious Registry Entry. Should I remove it? :(

It would be nice to be able to keep them set across reboots. *Smile Suspicious Registry Entry. Should I remove it? :)

Or are they taken care in version 0.25b11? I'm currently using 0.24.

  4. Suspicious Registry Entry. Should I remove it?

    winsock registry entries missing

I've installed windows update 10 on two computers and I am now getting a report that the winsock registry entries are missing on both computers.

    I've tried all of the suggested solutions;

    resetting winsock

removing the faulty reg entries and rebuilding

installing reg entries from a working system

none of these have removed the problem

The issue is causing multiple problems on my network, visibility of devices and computers and access to shares.
