Windows 10: svchost dcomlaunch repeatedly starts calculator, groove, ms store, movie & tv, settings

fully updated win 10 pro upgraded from win 7 - several times a day the programs calculator, groove, ms store, movie & tv, settings will run without my input. I kill them all, and in less that an hour they are all back. There seems to be no limit to the number of times they will restart.

They are being started by an svchost dcomlaunch -p.

WHY would user programs be started by a service???

How do i make it STOP?

i did search for this, but the results were all about svchost and the listed programs Failing to start. If this has been discussed before, i wasn't able to find a search term to reveal it

I would suggest you reset the Windows app store and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

• Right Click the Start screen (bottom left hand corner).
• Click on "Run"
• Type: "WSReset.exe" and hit
  enter.

Groove Music, and Movies & TV App Do Not Install/Update

Thank you for getting back to us. If the issue still continues, we recommend resetting both Windows apps.

• Click the Start button.
• Type Apps & features and then press Enter.
• Select Groove Music.
• Click Advanced options.
• Click Reset twice.
• Do the same for Movies & TV.

You can also remove the app from Windows PowerShell and then reinstall it from the Microsoft Store app.

• Click the Start button.
• Type Windows PowerShell.
• Right-click Windows PowerShell and then select
  Run as administrator.
• On the PowerShell window, copy and paste the commands below and then press
  Enter.
  • For Groove Music : get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneMusic* | remove-appxpackage
    
  • For Movies & TV : get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage
• Download the Windows apps from the Microsoft Store.
  • Get Groove Music
  • Get Movies & TV

Movies & TV app not working properly.

Hi,

I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key.
• Type Windows Powershell.
• Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
• Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.
