svchost.exe eating insane amounts of internet data

After re-installing my windows and updating it to latest build from my windows update I observed that my internet data was still being consumed by svchost.exe netscvs -p and svchost.exeNetworkService -p. Fixes that I have already tried:- Tried to stop BITS permanently but it re-appeared within 10 seconds anyways. Setting my wifi to metered network. Disabling "send optional data" from privacy setting. Scanned using Windows Defender and Microsoft Safety scanner. Do you guys have any idea how to stop this. are u all also experiencing this? what can be the cause of this stuff?

    :)

  2. SVCHOST eating up memory

What services of svchost should I disable? I think it's eating up my memory. I think if the computer has 2GB RAM, it should have only like 30-40% usage but I have 63%

  3. SYSTEM is consuming huge amount of data on internet

    Good Afternoon!

Recently, I bought a second hand laptop with Windows 10 pre-installed to it. Here are some details regarding my OS:

    Edition: Windows 10 Enterprise
    Version: 1703
    OS Build: 15063.11
System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I noticed however, that the laptop is consuming huge amount of bandwidth and data on our internet (Ethernet indicator blinks rapidly). Then I tried checking the data usage:

However, after a minute or two, I tried checking again the data usage (I closed the setting and re-opened it again)

Please note that I'm not running any application as of now (except Microsoft Edge). Then I tried turning off the internet connection (by enabling airplane mode). Then I checked for the data usage again. The "SYSTEM" already consumed 2 MB of data even if on airplane mode.

I tried checking if there are updates available:

I also tried checking for application updates from Microsoft Store. I paused all the download and updates:

I disabled background apps but still the "SYSTEM" consumes considerably large amount of bandwidth and data:

My friend does have a laptop with Windows 10 version 1803. Her laptop doesn't eat bandwidth like mine.

    So my question is:
    1. What is the "SYSTEM" process that eats my internet bandwidth and data?
    2. How do you stop it from consuming my internet bandwidth?

Why is my windows phone using insane amounts of data?

I have a windows phone 7 HTC mozart. It however is using insane amounts of data and I mea huge. bearing in mind I am doing nothing different to what I used to do on my iphone. When I rang O2 UK they said I used between 200-300mb on average per month. My
Mozart has managed to use 1017mb, yes 1017mb in 11 days! Whats going on? Fortunately I've got what is now an antiquated unlimited tariff from over 2 years ago (the phone was a gift from Windows Phone UK) but still thats a huge amount of data!

    My OS version is 7.0.7392.0

Any suggestions as to why ists using as much as it is?
