The above image contains screenshots from the Xbox game bar, Adobe XD and Paypal website running through Firefox. As you can see where the svg should have a smooth line from one point to another it is instead straight.

My PC is recently built and had Windows 10 freshly installed.

My display adaptor is up to date.

    :)

    svg files

    Hi Johnnie,

Right click an svg file, choose Open With - Choose Another App

At the bottom of the resulting menu, check the box marked, 'Always use this app to open .svg files'

Look for cricut in the list of apps, if it is there, choose that

If it is not there, scroll to the bottom and choose More Apps

If you still cannot find cricut, scroll to the bottom and choose 'Look for another App on this PC'

Locate the cricut program in either C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86)

    Then click OK

That will reset the file association on svg files . . .

  3. svg files

    Hi Nicki.

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

Which program do you use to edit and view your svg files?

Have you tried associating those files with that program?

Right click one of the SVG files.

    Click Properties

    Click the General tab

    Click Change

If you see the appropriate program listed, select it then check the option to always use that program.

    Click Apply then OK.

  4. SVGs not rendering properly across different programs

    Using Paint.net with SVG Files

    Hi eyore15

Select the SVG file thats now associated with IE.

    Right click it

    Click Properties

    Click the General tab

    Click Change

    Scroll through the list

    Choose Paint.NET

    Click OK

    Click Apply then OK

Paint.NET or any other graphics program you choose that can open SVG files should become the default.
