Yes, but they didn't work. They were for Windows 7!! *Shock

So I went to the website and downloaded and installed the Windows 8/ 8.1 drivers. Is there a free audio equalizer that I could use to improve the audio some how?

  3. Which OS are you using, 8.1 or 10 ?
If your using 10, the drivers would have been installed when you plugged in the BT adapter.

  9. Set them as default instead of the PC speakers.

go to control panel>>sound settings and check what is the default playback device. It should be your bluetooth device.

Which one? For some odd reason there are two devices listed.

Okay.. I do get sound when I 'Test' it, but I don't get sound on Youtube videos or Grooveshark or Pandora.

No sound from DVD's or CD's either.

Try switching to the other one, and set it as default.
Meaning the one you did not pick out of the two for headset or headphones.
