Windows 10: Swap left/right speakers?

I've got my whole setup right here. So it's hard to move anything around because the cables are all fixed. I've only used my speakers for Youtube, music or something like that, so I put them down somehow. For gaming I used my headset. Since my headset is broken, I use my speakers for gaming, but left and right is mixed up. Is there any way I can switch it to Windows 10?

I'm not sure which one I have. They're definitely Logitech speakers. Rather cheap

In Windows you can't although your soundcard driver might let you (mine doesn't).

Easiest would be to cut off the 3.5mm plug and solder the wires on backwards I'd have thought but there are some other suggestions here.. How do I swap audio output of the left and right speakers? - Super User

To summarize a 3 year old dead thread.

The computer speakers are not wired incorrectly. But some computer speakers come with different cable lengths for the left and the right side. The end user's desk has space limitations that only allows them to put the left speaker on the right side and vice versa.

The software solution is going to be difficult to achieve.

So there are 2 different hardware solutions.

(1) soldering as lx07 as suggested.
(2) use the front panel audio jack for the computer speakers, but using tweezers to yank out the tiny cables that go from the motherboard to the front audio header and reverse the left and right channels.

 

Left/Right display swapped


When I turn on my Compaq desktop the display will flicker for a few minutes, then the right and left sides swap themselves. It's as if someone cut the picture vertically and switched the sides. Moving the mouse off the left edge makes it appear on the right edge. I figured it was possibly the video driver so I went to the device manager and removed the driver and restarted. That didn't help, after a few minutes the screen flickered and swapped sides again. I set the computer to safe mode and the screen swapping stopped. My thought is to replace the onboard graphics with a stand-alone card. Do you think I'm on the right track?
