Windows 10: Sync , log in on temporary

How do I log in! It says I’m logged in with a temporary profile. When I try to sync.

Logged in to a Temporary Profile

Downloaded Windows 10 a couple of weeks ago. A few days ago, after logging in, the system told me I was logged in to a temporary account. My settings were gone, my files were gone, and every time I log back in none of the settings I'd set up previously
were saved. I have logged in with and verified my Microsoft account, but the problem persists. Any suggestions?

I realize the inconvenience you are facing in accessing the Start menu, user profile and browsers. Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

• Have you made any changes to the operating system that might have resulted in this issue?
• What is the complete error message/ error code of this issue?
• Are you currently using Microsoft account/ local user account?

Check to see if you are signed in with a temporary profile:

Go to Settings > Accounts >
Sync your settings. If you’re signed in with a temporary profile, you’ll see a message at the top that says You are logged on with a temporary profile. Roaming options are currently unavailable.

This means Windows attached an extra account to yours, so you’ll need to restart your PC and sign in again to get to your account settings and data.

Also, I recommend you to install all the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
