Windows 10: Syncing settings across devices

Hi,


I've got a Surface Pro 7 and a Surface Laptop 3 and I'm trying to sync my settings across both but it says "Sync is not available on your account". Both devices are running Windows 10 Pro and I have them signed into a work account. Does anyone know what the issue is?

Sync Password on Lumia Device

Let me assist you.

I suggest you to log-in to the system using the same Microsoft account and try the below steps.

• 
  Go to settings and click on Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on Sync your settings on the left pane, turn on all the sync option and verify your account.

Sync settings does nothing on new Windows 10 machine

We suggest that you change the Feedback and Diagnostics settings on both devices. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Open Settings.
• Go to Privacy, Feedback & diagnostics.
• Your Diagnostics and usage data settings are probably set to Basic. Just change it to Enhanced or higher.

Once you change Feedback and Diagnostics settings, you should be able to sync your settings normally again.

Stop Windows 10 syncing keyboard settings

I suggest you to Turn off the Language preference and Ease of access Sync settings and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below and check if it helps:

• Press Windows key and then type Sync your settings.
• Turn off language preference and ease of access.
