Windows 10: System Alerts Win 10

Annoying constant from 1 to 3 times every 2 minutes system alert signal. At the same time, the system messages panel is empty. Banned ALL messages in the notification panel and in the focus section. The result is zero - the sound notification is unknown about what continues. In WIN 7 it was easier, you could easily go to the "System Sounds" section and identify the process that caused this or that sound, completely disable all alerts. And in WIN 10 everything is hidden, you don’t understand what and how to do ... How to turn off this annoying system sound, help!

Emergency Alerts

Just to confirm, is this the same thing that you tried on your phone, in order to turn off Amber Alerts?

• Open Settings.
• Tap on System.
• Tap on Messaging.
• Tap on the Change emergency alert settings link.
• Turn on or off the emergency alerts you want.

Let us know if this was the same thing that you tried.

We would also suggest to reset your phone after doing these steps to ensure that the changes on your phone's settings will be refreshed.

Simply press and hold the Power and Volume down button for 15 seconds and then release your hold afterwards.

 

How do I turn off the sound for sidebar alerts in Outlook?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to turn off the alert notifications for the mail app and check if it helps.

• Go to “settings” and Click on “system”.
• On the left hand side click on “notifications and actions”.
• On the screen you will find an option “show notifications from these apps”, below that you will find all the apps that has
  notifications alerts with sound.
• I suggest you to select the outlook app and disable it has
  “off”.
• Then check whether the issue persists.

win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software

BUT i still have the line on screen.
