Windows 10: System and compressed memory CPU increase causes video freeze

I've tried searching online for solutions but haven't found any.

I noticed that when watching videos online such as youtube or netflix, it would randomly freeze for a split second then go back to normally playing, and sound doesn't seem to be affected. When I have task manager on, it seems to happen when system and compressed memory shoots up to the top of CPU usage. only around 2.0-3.0% usage, then goes back all the way down, and I'm not exactly sure what is causing it.

System and compressed memory (ntoskrnl.exe) Problem

I am also having the same problem in my Lenovo B560. System and compressed memory (ntoskrnl.exe) has already covered 30-50% of CPU and Memory on my laptop. Whenever I am any application like Cortana or Edge, the CPU usage increases to 90-95% and then even
the movement of pointer slows down and everything hangs up. What is System and compressed memory (ntoskrnl.exe), may I end its functioning?

 

Windows10 Lag and i mean LAG

Currently I have 1browser open with 3tabs, this page, youtube(video stopped download) and social media(not using) and "Windows Explorer" is using 50% of the CPU and "System and Compressed Memory" is using 30%. 80% of the CPU being used by the system itself...

 

Hi, problems reported long ago with 'system and compressed memory' tended to relate to CPU use more continuous and 15-30%. Those issues seem to have died away.
