    System Bios shadowed and Video Bios Shadowed. Access to Bios impossible.


    Hello.


    I need to made some changes to the Bios setting of my Laptop Ideapad Lenovo Z580, but I cannot open the Bios Setup. When I try to enter the Bios Setup, the system automatically start Windows and it is impossible to enter setup. This because the System Bios and Video Bios are shadowed.


    There is a way to avoid this annoying problem?

    access BIOS settings in Win 10

    I have an 8-year old computer running Win 10. I need to access the BIOS settings. It used to be the holding down the F2 key during startup would bring up the BIOS screen in Windows computers. But this no longer works. A web article listed a complicated
    series of steps leading to a reboot . . . but still no access to BIOS. Any suggestions?

    On the startup splash screen I noticed that it indicates BIOS shadowed. What does that mean ?

    How old is your PC, I have not seen this in a long time, BIOS Shadowed means a your BIOS has been copied to your RAM . . .

    Why that happened is a mystery, most likely a Windows update was updating your BIOS, it is not something to be concerned over, this will not affect the good running of your PC . . .

    Hi, it's impossible to access your bios from your OS this is because the Bios can make core changes to your software and hardware to access your bios reboot (restart) your pc. Then press f2, f12 or f11 to access the bios. once done it would automatically
    launch Windows.
