Windows 10: System not Shut Down 2021-10 Cumulative UpDate for Windows 10 Ver 21H1 for x64- based...

hi I am new to this forumi have Lenovi IdePad 320 IntelR CoreTM i3-6006U CPU @ 2.00GHz 1.99 GHz with 8.00 GB 7.88 GB usableworking on Windows 10 Ver 21H1 for x64bits OS Build is 19043.1237 as on 17.10.2021from last few days my Laptop is not turning OFF as when we try to SHUT DOWN the system it goes in updating mode The “Getting Windows ready, Don't turn off your computer” and it keep on for about 14-16 hrs ...but did not shutdown...when i saw the updates it shows "2021-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Ver 21H1 for x64- based system KB5006670 " Status : Installing - 20% this is

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.
