Windows 10: System Partiton Not on C Drive

When I installed windows the only drive connected was the 960 Evo. I notice now that there's a system reserved partition on data drive F. This had to be installed when the two data drives were hooked back up after the Windows install. I'm wondering why Windows would do this - and can I remove this drive without causing problems?

I recently purchased a laptop and it came with only one partition i.e. local disk C and some other system partitions.Now I want to create one more partition for my personal stuff. So, will creating a new partiton format my local disk C and windows along
with all the drivers installed? Please help

 

We need the full view of disk management to answer your question - and please make sure to widen the columns so we can see all the info contained in them:

One thing I notice is that Disk 0 is the only MBR partitioned drive. Is your computer booting from a legacy BIOS (or CSM mode) or is it booting in UEFI mode. If it is booting from legacy BIOS, then disk 0 will be the only disk it can boot from.

If your computer is booting in UEFI mode, then I suspect it is actually booting from Partition 2 on Disk 2 and you can delete the system reserved partition on Disk 0 and expand F: drive to fill it. You might have to use MiniTool Partition Wizard (or some other partition program) to do it since you will be moving the beginning of that partition.

 

Does this help. Disk 2 is the main drive that boots and has C drive.

You should be OK to delete the System Reserved partition on Disk 0. If the computer was booting from it, it would have "System" inside the parenthesis.
