Windows 10: system requirements

Hello. I have a 4 month old Desktop that has been a nightmare from day 1. I don't know if OS 10 was already installed or if it was 8 or 8.1 When plugged in for the first time it just started downloading and 10 was activated. Updates, Bit locker and so on. The System Requirements along with the file sizes on apps do not display. It also says windows is Not activated and information is not available. This is on the basic info page. When I go to settings it says it is activated. Therefore I can't download anything because there are no Requirements listed.

Does anyone have experience with this issue. Support keeps telling me it's activated as I sit looking at the display that says it's not. I guess they know more about what my pc does than I do while I'm looking at it.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...


That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

 

Programs not working


In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
