Windows 10: System Restore not available after Windows 10 2004 update

I saved a restore point this morning before installing the latest feature update which was showing in Windows Update. After it installed, I went back into System Restore as it is usually turned off after updating. This time it is greyed out when I click configure and no longer can I select it to turn it back on again.

I have tried running services.msc, started the Volume Shadow Copy & Task Scheduler & Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider Service which was not running and set it to Automatic. This did not work. I also opened an elevated Powershell command and entered PS C:\> Enable-ComputerRestore -Drive "C:\"but this did not work either.

I am not a computer expert at all so any clear responses would be helpful. Thank you.

Not sure about the games you listed but no probs with Dirt Rally and benching heavensward-bench here for me. I'm going to test 3DMark too in a few minutes.

System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.
