Windows 10: System restore points corrupted

I have a about 19 system restore points saved on my computer for this month, probably one a day. All of them are corrupted. I cannot use any of them to restore my computer to an earlier time. None of previous months exist even though I have given system restore enough memory. How do I get an uncorrupted restore point?

Scheduling System Restore Point Creation


I have tried to precisely follow the instructions set out in System Restore Point : Create at System Startup - Windows 7 Help Forums, but the Task Scheduler / script is failing to create a restore point:

• Running the script manually creates a Restore Point.
• Task Scheduler appears to run the script, but no Restore Point results.

(The Last Run Result code 0x41301 indicates "The task is already running".)

The Task Scheduler settings are as follows:




















I would be grateful for any suggestions as to why the restore points are not being created.

 

System Restore Points - Only one?

Hi,

Have you recently run a disk cleanup on your computer? When viewing the restore points, did you also put a check mark on the box that says
Show more restore points? Please see picture below:



Being unable to see the restore points may also be caused by the following:

• Any 3rd party application that may have removed the restore points.
• Possible corruption on the previous restore points.

To properly isolate the issue, we suggest that you boot in safe mode and see if the other restore points will be available.
