Windows 10: System restore takes almost a day now

Hello all,


I performed a system restore to a point eleven days ago because of a malfunctioning driver. However, the system restore is currently stuck at "System Restore is restoring the registry" and it's been at it for almost 24 hours now. What should I do? Thanks!

Windows XP PRO error after restore

System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.

 

Missing icons / buttons after System Restore

To address your concern, we suggest that you try to undo the restore or pick another restore point.

Please follow these steps to access system restore:

• Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, and then select Control Panel.
  
• Search Control Panel for Recovery.
  
• Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
