    System service exception during boot up


    hi all,


    I recently updated my PC thru the Check updates in the Settings and left it updating overnight. Upon checking on it the next day, Automatic Repair is shown on display saying that "Automatic Repair couldn't repair PC". I tried all sorts of things from this WinRE but I keep getting stop code error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.

    If anyone can recommend a troubleshoot for this error, I will highly appreciate it.

    Vhdx boot causing system service exception

    I have a double boot. One is my host and one from my previous computer that i turned into vhdx file.

    Both are windows 10 enterprise 1803 versions. If I run the vhdx file from hyper-v on my host it works ok. But due to some performance stuff I want also a boot from vhdx while still using the same vhdx from hyper-v (if this is even possible).

    I was getting system service exceptions on vhdx boot and I managed to isolate that the network drivers are causing problems. So If I boot my vhdx into safe mode, delete the network drivers, boot vhdx again in normal mode everything works. Until I restart it. Then again I get system service exception since drivers were installed/updated.

    My machine is Dell XPS 9570.

    Any suggestions?

    Conflicts with the hardware driver is one of hte possible reasons why you are having a blue screen error with stop code, system service exception. For us to assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

    • Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • Which Version and OS Build number of Windows 10 is currently installed? To check, press the
      Windows key, type winver, and press the
      Enter       key.

    Meanwhile, you can try the troubleshooting steps on this

    SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION on Windows 10

    i have done all the same steps which are given in the instruction just there is a difference of version.

    Still it gives blue Screen "System Service Exception".
