    System Slow after 2018-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems


    This update was just installed on my system and my 6 month old pc is now noticeably slower. I used Recovery to revert to the prior build and everything is now as before. However, the new Build wants to automatically install again!! How can I stop it from reinstalling?

    2018-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4103721) has been a pending update in my system upate center for 2 weeks but never downloads...any ideas?

    I tried the stand alone installer for 1803.

    it fails to install as well.
