  1. System using disk bandwidth

I have this issue with every laptop ive owned, ssd or hdd. The system will suddenly start using 80-98% disk for no apparent reason, and when i go to task manager to diagbose what the issue is, it doesnt help. Even after closing all other apps running and unessential programs, system will still use 80-98% of my disk. I have a picture of it, in this case it was "Service Host: SysMain" which is just system to my knowledge. My computer is a dell inspiron gaming 7000 series with a gtx 1050 4g, an i5 7300HQ and 8gb of ram. And a 5400 rpm hdd. System using disk bandwidth [IMG]

    IP Address Bandwidth Monitor

I am looking for a bandwidth monitor that tells me how much bandwidth each IP connected to my server is sending/receiving (preferably listed in Mbits). I currently have Netlimiter 2 Pro, but that only does bandwidth monitoring by process (it lists IPs but doesn't tell how much bandwidth each one is using). It would need to run on Windows Server 2003 and not have any web-based requirements (it is not a webserver so can't support a webpage-type monitor). Does anyone know how to do this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  3. System Specs minor revisions and suggestions

Change: Hard Disk(s) to Storage Device(s)
Change: LCD/CRT Model: to Display Device(s):
add an Audio Device(s) = for headsets and speaker set ups.

and as others have suggested before: The option to list more than one system spec

    System using disk bandwidth

    Can't safely remove external disk

In reference to the steps of your suggestions:

    • The issue is specific to the particular disk and it started after I've used the disk to save the System image backup (created with the Control Panel > File History tool).
    • I didn't disable any windows Service. I'm just wondering if there is any to disable.
    • Safe boot with networking, or clean boot doesn't resolve the issue.

    Thank you.
