    System_Service_Exception cldflt.sys after installing Affinity Publisher


    I installed Affinity Publisher on a Surface Book and a Surface Pro. It is running normally on the Book and is causing a blue screen on the Pro every time I open the program: System_Service_Exception cldflt.sys

    I updated windows, uninstalled/installed the program but the Surface Pro is still crashing. What else can I do?

    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (igdkmd64.sys)

    I try to install newest Intel HD Graphics 4600 drivers on Windows 10, but get the BSOD: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (igdkmd64.sys). I tried drivers from:

    • Intel site
    • Asus (Motherboard manufacturer) site
    • Windows Update

    This error come every time when trying to update the drivers. The Device Manager shows Microsoft generic VGA graphics adapter drivers and Intel drivers cannot be installed. The BSOD comes either while installing or after reboot.

    The system has only Intel's onboard graphics.

    How could I get Intel drivers installed without BSOD?

    Why no CldFlt service?


    There is no Cloud Service Filter (CldFlt) Service listed in Windows Services. You can query for it thou.
    Open Command Prompt as Admin
    sc qc CldFlt


    Note: Not sure why you wouldn't have a registry entry for it, could be you've never setup OneDrive. I do have OneDrive setup and have the following registry entries...
