Windows 10: Tablet mode doesn't get engaged when I undock my Windows tablet?

I have a Cherry Mobile Alpha Morph that works without problems aside from the fact that, when I undock it from the keyboard, it doesn't detect that it should now be in Tablet Mode. I have to manually go to the Action Center and toggle it there. Same with docking it back. I have already checked my settings and I didn't disable Tablet Mode either.

Anyone have an idea how I can resolve this? I just want to seamlessly dock and undock the tablet and it should switch to tablet or desktop mode respectively.

I don't know if it's relevant but the OS is Windows 10 Home Single Language.

Continuum and Acer Aspire Switch 11

Hey there,

I bought an Acer Aspire Switch 11 from the Microsoft Store. It's a convertible 2-in-1 laptop/tablet. My understanding was that Windows 10 had a feature called Continuum, that would automatically switch between Metro and Desktop mode as you docked/undocked
the tablet section to the keyboard section. I can't get it to do this and wonder whether there's some setting I'm missing.

When I undock the tablet, I just get a message from Windows to remove the hardware safely using the icon in the system tray, so it's clear that Windows understands that something is being unplugged... but the keyboard section of the Aspire Switch 11 doesn't
include any data storage as far as I know, so why Windows is asking for it to be safely removed, I'm not sure. Incidentally, there also doesn't seem to be a Safely Remove Hardware icon at all in the system tray when it's docked... so how I would safely remove
it is another question.

So my two questions:

1) Can I get continuum to automatically switch between Tablet and Desktop mode when I dock/undock my 2-in-1?

2) How do I get the Safely Remove Hardware icon back or prevent Windows from asking this question when I undock?

When docked tablet mode doesn't trigger on screen keyboard when needed

I have an Asus T100TA and sometimes I have the tablet docked, but I would still like to use tablet mode. So, I switch it manually to tablet mode. This all seems to work fine. However, when I touch the screen in a text box the on screen keyboard doesn't appear.

If I undock the tablet this does work.

Is it possible to change this?

 

I would like to know how to enable this as well - In fact, I was hoping to be prompted to change modes when dock/undocking....instead of having to find the setting and toggle tablet mode on/off every time.

Double check your tablet mode settings to see if they are set to how you want to see if that may help.
