Windows 10: Tablet PC Components

Hi everyone,


I have written a software using Visual Basic Express a few years back when Windows XP was used in our company. Now that all our PC have been upgraded to Windows 10, I would get random crash with tiptsf.dll as the culprit. This is related to Tablet PC components and was an easy switch to turn off with Windows 7 under control panel and Turn Windows Features On or Off.


However, this option is not visible under Windows 10. I've done a bit of research and found that this option is hidden by default when using Windows 10. Is there any way to make this option show up? I'm using Windows 10 Professional by the way. Thanks!

Cannot Locate Tablet-PC Optional Components in Windows Features

I'm running 10 while using a Wacom Cintiq 13HD, and I came across an issue involving the Windows Tablet PC feature overpowering my Cintiq's driver. I know that I can disable this by going to control panel > programs > turn Windows features on and off,
and then unchecking the box "Tablet-PC Optional Components." However, that feature is not listed and I cannot turn it off any other way. So, what can I do next that will solve this?

 

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

Hi Roice,

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.
