    But, it seems not possible to tag images nor folders.

    Now I understand that you are stating you can't do what is suggesting in the link?

    Try copying the JPG to a new folder and see if you can do it.

    I am trying to determine if this is an issue with folder permissions or just file permissions.

    Are these pics in your default users\pictures folder?

    Try and take ownership of folder and files in it.

    Tagging images

    Hi PJ,

    Open Windows File Explorer

    Navigate to the folder containing that Images

    On the View Ribbon, click 'Details Pane'

    Select an image or images, can you then tag the images from there?

    Print or find all photo tags used in Windows 10

    Hi,

    Adding tags on your photos will help you easily find the photos you're looking for. If you would like to find the the list of photo tags you used, you may perform these steps:

    • Open Windows Explorer.
    • View your folder in Details view to see tags.
    • Click Tags to sort by any of the tags.
