    Task bar unwanted moving problem

I run 3 monitors. The order is 1, 2 , 3 from left to right. 2 monitor is main display. I want the task bar to stay on the left side of monitor 1. My system stays on 24/7 but the monitors turn off after 1 hour of no activity because I run SETI. When I reactivate the computer and the monitors turn back on the task bar has moved from the left of monitor 1 to the left of monitor 2. How do I make the task bar stay permanently on monitor 1?

    Version 1903 (OS Build 18362.836)

    :)

    Task bar keeps moving

    Hi Timbo,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. We are glad to help.

The issue might have been caused if the ‘Auto-hide’ task bar option got checked. So, I would suggest you to try the following steps to disable auto hide task bar.

    a. Right click on the Task bar.

    b. Click on Properties.

    c. Put a uncheck mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the task bar.

    d. Click on Apply and OK.

Also check the option “task bar location on the screen” need to select “bottom”.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted with the updated status of the issue. We will be happy to assist you.

    Thanks and regards,
