  1. Task Manager. 'Application Experience'. How to disable?

I have tried everything in order to disable the Task->Windows->Application Experience.

    ProgramDataUpdater: Disabled

    StartAppTask: Disabled.

    Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser: Disabled.

Every morning when I boot my PC The 'Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser is running!

    - How do I really disable this task?

    - What is starting this task?

    Please make your answer concise.

    :)

    Shared Experiences

    Hi,

Shared Experiences allow you to start a task on one device and finish it on another, or easily set up a remote control or other companion apps on a smartphone. If you don’t want to use the feature, we suggest that you disable it. Kindly follow these steps
    below:

    • Click
      Start.
    • Select
      Settings.
    • Click
      System.
    • Select the Shared experiences link on the left-hand side. Here you will see a switch that lets you toggle the Share across devices feature to the On or Off position.
    • Enable it then restart your computer.
    • Go again to Shared Experiences in Settings app, and disable it completely.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Credentials for Task Manager

Task manager in Windows 10 is not the same thing as Task manager for Windows 7 & earlier.

    • You can, for example, alter Startup items that you used to use MSConfig for in earlier Windows versions.

    • If you are logged in to an Admin user account, Task manager in Windows 10 always challenges for Admin permission when it starts.
    • If you are logged in to a Standard user account, Task manager in Windows 10 will open without any Admin challenge.

    • If you are logged in to an Admin user account, Task manager in Windows 10 will allow you to alter entries in the Start-up tab such as disabling an item.
    • If you are logged in to a Standard user account, Task manager in Windows 10 will only allow you to alter entries in the Start-up tab that affect that user account only. If you try to alter an item that affects other users, the disable command is greyed
      out.

Task Manager. 'Application Experience'. How to disable?

Network tab in Task manager is not working

    Hi,

The possible cause could be the Update speed option in Task Manager is Disabled. We suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists:

    1. Open Task Manager.

    2. Under the View option, go to Update Speed.

    3. Ensure that it is not paused. You can set it to Normal.

    4. Restart the computer.

    5. Check if the issue persists.

Let us know how it goes.
