    Task Manager might show 100% disk utilization on Windows 10 devices with Message Signaled...


    Recently, I have upgraded my windows 8.1 to 10 and after upgrading, I started facing 100% disk usage issue.

    To solve this issue, I have started googling and found the solution on Microsoft's community page https://support.microsoft.com/en-in...00-disk-utilization-on-windows-10-devices-wit which describes this issue very briefly and also provided a solution on it. But unfortunately, that solution doesn't work for me. as described on the main issue page, this issue is due to the inbox StorAHCI.sys driver.


    To solve this issue, I have installed Intel's Chipset and Management Engine Interface driver, after installing these two drivers, theissue of 100% disk usage is resolved.


    I found this might be helpful to someone who is already facing 100% disk usage issue.

    Clean install, disk usage at 100%

    I've seen that article. and I am in fact not running that driver. I followed the steps and it does not appear in the list.
